Story of Kedarnath Movie
Kedarnath is a romantic love story directed by Abhishek Kapoor starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali khan. The plot of the story is the love that occurs between a Muslim Pithoo aka Mansoor Khan (Sushant Singh Rajput). And a Hindu girl Mandakani Mishra( Sara Ali Khan) who is the daughter of a priest. However, what is best in the movie is the beauty and splendor of 3000 years old temple Kedarnath.
The whole movie was shot in the real location, that is Kedarnath. The movie begins with the devotional song ‘Namo Namo’ which just arouses divinity and spirituality in our heart. The whole song shows us the natural and magical beauty of Kedarnath. Also, it shows us the dedication and devotion of Mansoor towards his work, which is carrying the pilgrims on his back. Mandakini, a bubbly and talkative girl, hardly cares for anything in life. When she encountered Mansoor, she was quite impressed by his genuine personality.
Mansoor being a Muslim Pithoo is much loving and dedicated towards the Kedarnath pilgrims and Lord Shiva. However, his honesty and genuine personality made Mukku aka Mandakani fall for him. Both express their love passionately and spiritually without worrying about the outcomes. However, the relation between Mansoor and Mandakani has to meet lots of challenges. That is to say, neither their family nor society accept their relation. As for them its sin for a Hindu girl to love a Muslim guy who is below their status. The beauty of this love story lies in the rebellious nature of Mukku and the pure divine love of Mansoor. Mukku can leave her orthodoxy family as well as Mansoor sincerely can meet any challenge to get his love. But destiny has its own role to play.
The last 30 minutes of the movie is something that can take your breath. The climax is hit by the backdrop and drastic effect of the Uttarakhand flood of 2013. The flood starts and the whole family of Mukku( Sara Ali Khan) fight to it. Moreover, being much concerned for his love Mansoor reaches the spot to save Mukku and his family. At last, a helicopter arrives at the spot for the rescue. Mansoor one by one sends everyone to the helicopter but at last, there was a single space left in the helicopter.
Therefore, Mansoor decides to send the man whose son was crying for him and sacrificed his own life. Mukku screams, shouts, and cries for Mansoor seeing him dying. However, the ending of the movie reminds us of ‘Titanic’. The tragic love story of Mukku and Mansoor is something as pure as Kedarnath.
